My formal education is in marketing, but my path back to marketing was not linear, and that is exactly what makes the work stronger.
I began in large-scale regional medical operations, where I learned how businesses scale, how systems break down, and how even the best ideas fall apart without structure, accountability, and execution. Operations taught me to look beyond the surface problem and understand what is really effecting performance.
And very often,
that answer was revenue.
So I moved closer to the revenue.
In sales, I learned how trust is built, how decisions are made, where prospects hesitate, and what a business needs to communicate before a customer is ready to buy. Sales taught me that growth is not created by effort alone. It is created by the right message, delivered to the right audience, with the right strategy behind it.
And very often,
the missing piece was marketing.
Which brought me back to where I started, but with a much broader view of what marketing is responsible for.
